Okay #8 idea..Sea Shells are not just for by
the Seashore...just look at how they use them...
in a curio cabinet...

on a shelf...

and oh my look at the tree!!
All over in it and under it!!

sea sponges. ladyfinger sponges,
hand blown lobsters, clams...so beautiful
wish you could see it better

on the mantel
and in the fireplace....so pretty

#9 just a simple space with
urns inside...a cupboard filled with mercury glass,
and St Nick

# 10 whimsy ....Hard to see but this was like a Dr Seuss tree..
flying pig ornaments, fun chenille curly cues in bright colors,
bright glass balls all on a flocked tree!!

I will post more of Petunia's regular goods
on a post next week...more awesome things to look at...

This is a tree my friend Sara made
out of wheels and I use it for our xmas
tree with all vintage "treasures" on it
and around it...

oil cans gone pretty....

a boat motor casing turned candle holder

a Christmas tree stand turned candle arrangement...

The 12 ways to decorate for Christmas #6.....The IDEA HOUSE @ BACHMAN'S in mpls MN

We started on the main floor with neutrals...
the FLOCKED TREE so pretty tree has large birch sticks
in it and look at the gift wrap!!

"JOY" sign the J is a coat hook,O a faucet knob
and the Y a boat oar holder!!

Then we went to the "craft room"~ this wreath is made from
old yarn spindles!!

NOEL ~bendable rulers and stenciled pages...

Pin cushions are rag balls in sundae cups & the
shelf a drawer front..

clever wrapping..the tree gift is layered white parchment paper
as snow and buttons make up the tree!!

and baskets holding stuff were labeled with Scrabble tiles

onto the porch...an old work bench turned display table
so much more...but this is all my friend Sara's had taken
(I forgot my camera at home!) make sure to check out the IDEA HOUSE @ Bachman's
in MPLS MN when it is open again in spring!!!
